Terms of use

Last updated: 1 May 2026. By using this website you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

1. Concept-stage notice

Civic Karma is a concept proposal. The site exists to share that proposal with councils, supporters and prospective partners. Names of partner organisations, proposed pricing, redemption rates and any figures shown throughout the site are indicative examples for discussion. Nothing on this site constitutes:

  • An offer to sell or supply a product or service
  • A binding pricing schedule or service-level commitment
  • An offer to issue, sell or distribute securities or financial instruments
  • Tax, legal or financial advice

2. Intellectual property

The "Civic Karma" name, logo, written copy, page designs, illustrations and concept artwork on this site are © James Eley unless otherwise stated. You may share links to this site freely, and reproduce small extracts for the purpose of evaluating the proposal internally within your council, charity or organisation. All other use requires prior written permission.

Some illustrative artwork on the site was generated using generative-AI tooling and is provided as concept reference only.

3. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that any information on it is complete or current. The platform described on the site is not yet operational.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civic Karma and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

5. External links

Where this site links to external resources (e.g. Web3Forms, the ICO) we are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those third parties.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
